Review of Ladies in Lavender (2004) by Jason Y — 29 Mar 2005

I am not disapponted with this film, although director Charles Dance didn't impress me much on his style or visions, it is the cast that made this film very interesting, Judy Dench and Maggie Smith tandem is very impressive, not to mention Daniel Bruhl on the supporting role is very charming and likable.

Ladies in Lavender has a very tight budget but with Smith, Dench and Bruhl in the cast, I have no doubt that Ladies in Lavender has secured a place in my DVD shelf.
