You want the truth? Ladies in Lavender is a darn good film. The cinematography is great, original score performed by Joshua Bell on solo violin. Maggie Smith and Judi Dench are sensational in their roles (just as you think you want surprises from two legendary Dames).
Daniel Bruhl added a different flavor in this otherwise smooth paced film. Ladies in Lavender is a pleasure to watch, ever so emotion-filled.
