Review of Ladies in Lavender (2004) by Lozza S — 03 Jul 2008
This film really coudn't be any gentler. The central performances are as strong as you would imagine, and Miriam Margolyes as the housekeeper is fantastic. But, don't expect to be bowled away by the plot - a young lad is discovered washed ashore one day.
Is he a soldier? A spy? No, he's... a violinist.
