Review of Ladies and Gentlemen, the Fabulous Stains (1982) by Jason H — 11 Aug 2008
I just say this at a art house on the old 35 and loved it, watch this if you can, you will notice while watching it alot of influences on bands today, I think actually the white strips openly said it is where they got there name, hole was heavy influenced by this as well.
If you into the music culture and stuff I highly suggest watching this it is very rare and only one copy left in circulation and no word of paramount ever releasing it on DVD so if it in your area see it! Oh I forgot, if your ?? the ended in the Q&A and the documentary after the movie it was said that Paramount HATED the eneding it was to dark that they wanted it to be more up lifting and so they had to refilm the ending and still they were not happy, the original ending is suppose to be when they do the close up of her face when she sees people still listening to her on the radio.
Also I thought it was interestingthat Denver Colorado was where they did the original sneak preview release of this film and is were paramount decided to shelf it!
