Review of Ladder 49 (2004) by Logan V — 04 Oct 2009
I don't know how to begin..
Lets sa the ++++.
The cast...John Travolta gave a very humainic perfomance ..He was a great supporting actor..he gave us the fun / cool chief of the station but also the family/ love / sensitive man..
Robert Patrick was also great as the "bad" fireman..
The music was very good and the song 'Shine your light" was so sobbie and at the same time hopefull...
The backwards montage style was good for this one..and the scene where Jack Morrison tells his chief "Say Linda I love her..' you realise the mortality of our lives...
Also in the speech at the church John Travolta shows an other side of his acting skills...
