Review of Labyrinth of Passion (1982) by Andrew H — 17 Apr 2008
My least favourite Almodovar. Showing the lighter side of both terrorism and nymphomania (!) and loosley structured in a giallo-like way (Dario Argento would be proud) it ambles along, offending no-one (if your threshold is not set too low) but not really getting anywhere or doing anything. The ending prefigures "Woman on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown" and we get a look at a young Antonia Banderas but there's little else to excite.
Only for the Almodovar completist.
