Review of Labyrinth (2012) by Joseph B — 27 Sep 2014
This film may surprise in the visual and sound departments, but everything else lacks.
The story is nothing short of straightforward and unimaginative. The acting and voice acting are hokey, but Jennifer Connelly is just awful. All the songs are fat which could easily be trimmed away. The moral, "Don't take things for granted," is told AT the very beginning, rather than introduced gradually or subtly.
Overall, the film casts a spell of corny childishness which keeps you captivated in disbelief.
