Following the success of THE DARK CRYSTAL, director Jim Henson set out with collaborators Frank Oz and Brian Fround to bring another magical world of myth and wonder to life in LABYRINTH. Our story begins as young Sarah accidentally wishes away her baby brother to the kingdom of the Goblin King, whose castle lies beyond a great labyrinth.

Sarah must gather her courage and join forces with a group of unusual allies if she hopes to overcome the maze and win back her brother! Jennifer Connelly stars as the headstrong Sarah, whose grand adventure serves as her own coming of age tale.

Sarah must learn to put away her childish toys and accept the responsibilities of adulthood if she hopes to save Toby. David Bowie makes for an enchanting villain just opposite of her as Jareth the Goblin King.

The memorable musical numbers that he has written and performed for the film capture a softer side of the artist's unique style. But it is the world of the Labyrinth, itself, that deserves the most attention.

The fanciful creatures and elaborate designs make this one of the most imaginative creations in Fantasy cinema. Borrowing from Alice in Wonderland and other traditional fairy tales, it forces Sarah to match both wit and strength in order to succeed.

Like THE DARK CRYSTAL and THE NEVERENDING STORY, LABYRINTH is a timeless classic for the both young and the young at heart.
