Review of Labor Day (2013) by Ellie F — 06 Jan 2015
I loved this film. Of course it was in many ways implausible, but it's entertainment. It's not hip or cool to have a good movie with a happy ending anymore, but I think this was an excellent "coming of age" movie as well as a good romance.
Movies devoid of hopeful happy endings are in style, but implausible as it may seem, there are some really dark movies that get rave reviews that are far more implausible.
