Review of La Vie en Rose (2007) by Alexandra — 13 Jul 2007
I thought this film was fantastic, and am perplexed by the reviews. Marrion Cotillard's performance as Edith Piaf was astonishing, harrowing, and the film was constructed in a way as to symbolize the various complexities that made Edith the truly unique star that she was.
This film is great for anyone who appreciates the triumph of spirit over inconceivable odds. Extraordinary.
