Review of La Vie en Rose (2007) by Luqmassy L — 11 Jul 2009
This movie was such a disappointment. I had high hopes. It was disjointed and disorienting. It took Piaf's life, chopped it up into teeny tiny little pieces, threw them up in the air and let them land in a horrible pile and called that the movie.
It was unrecognizable as anything interesting even though it was about a fascinating women. Right in the middle I felt like I needed a siesta. She was portrayed as a screechy, detestable horror. Now my husband won't go to my favourite little cafe "La Vie En Rose," and he might never let me pick out another movie again.
AVOID.
