Review of La Vie en Rose (2007) by Ray S — 15 Jun 2010
Good but depressing biopic that was great for the first 3/4th of the movie then spins out of control last 1/4th (just a jumble of images). Still, Marion Cotillad is very convincing as Edith Piaf, esp. when you consider Cotillard is 5'7" and Piaf was only 4'8"! Hers is the most remarkable performance I've seen from an actress in the last 10 years.
For that alone, I recommend the movie.
