Review of La Vie en Rose (2007) by Tracy G — 04 Feb 2012
Chaotic, disorganized and sad as Edit Piaf life was, is this movie, which best elements are the physical, gestural and personality transformation of Marion Cotillard on the main character, either in her best or worse moments in a turbulent life, and also the music, with which (as in Piaf life) there is a continuous fight, as some scenes are increased in intensity because of music, but, in other moments, it seems movie tries to hide some of the most interesting songs from the singer.
So, irregular movie (with all the problems that come with a biography), but with a very interesting character.
