Review of L.A. Story (1991) by Rajneel S — 29 Jul 2008
Charming, slightly surreal and biting satire of a suicidal weatherman trying to find love in the city of Los Angeles - here painted as the most demented place on earth. Steve Martin here is heartbreakingly endearing and the film, despite some moments of lag, potters along nicely with some original statements of wit and emotion.
Strange, but wonderfully quirky.
