Review of La Notte (1961) by Trevor L — 14 Nov 2007
I love the coldness of it. The loss of the wife in the streets of Rome. The parting of the couple to find others. Both seek that which was lost between them. A lot of people claim that these films are boring.
I dont have much attention but I was glued to this riveting journey. I have far less attention to films feeding me information and not treating me intelligently trying to explain to me how great the film is.
These films on the other hand are what they are. Bleak romance I call it. Beautiful.
