Review of La Notte (1961) by William W — 10 Jun 2008
A beautiful and impeccable follow-up to L'Avventura. I fell in love with Jeanne Moreau...her acting and way of movement is natural. The way she was "lost" or "confused" was beautiful. Marcello Mastroianni is a truly remarkable actor. Monica Vitti is alluring as well as talented.
I loved the way the sense of indifference was weaved throughout the whole film. Once again, I love one of Antonioni's film elements...silent scenes.
Please...watch it!
