Review of La La Land (2016) by Isabella R — 26 Dec 2017
This movie wasn't for me. I did not find any of the songs strong or lovable like so many other musicals. The ending where they did not end up together was the most redeeming part, but how they got there was slow, the opposite of inspirational, and in the end I couldn't read very deeply into it.
Maybe people struggling to -make it- in the world of entertainment just strongly identified. I did not.
