Can't understand why such a mediocre film got rave reviews from so many critics. Neither lead actor had much of a singing voice, neither was much of a dancer - Astaire and Rogers, Kelly and co. were in an entirely different league, they made real musicals! The plot was flimsy and the characters were shallow.
