Review of La La Land (2016) by J D — 26 Apr 2017
If you're like me and cringe at the thought of a full-blown Hollywood musical, hold back on the urge to bolt for about the first ten minutes. I actually enjoyed this movie. I didn't get the idea that, yeah, Emma Stone definitely deserved to win best actress.
Of course, not much at the Oscars made sense to me.
