Review of La La Land (2016) by Paul L — 13 May 2017
Here's to the fools who dream, Damien Chazelle has done it again. La La Land is beautifully directed with a message many films have never sent to the viewers. Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, the leads in this masterpiece, perform their roles in the best possible way.
It breathed much needed life back into a forgotten genre with breathtaking dancing and singing sequences. This film is not only well directed, but it also centralizes on the idea that we must pursue our dreams, even if it means sacrificing the things we love.
