Review of La La Land (2016) by Supes S — 24 Oct 2017
This is my favorite movie of 2010s. Right there with Whiplash. ALSO made by Damien Chazelle. Seriously, this movie is a visual masterpiece. The set design, the directing (SO MANY ONE SHOTS!), the writing on teh characters, and of course, the breathtaking performances.
Overall, it's an amazing film but the ending sold the movie for me. The ending was so heartbreaking, so emotional, and so surreal that it's, I can't even comment anything anymore. I'm literally speechless.
