Review of La La Land (2016) by Rami A — 02 Jun 2017
One of the better movies I've seen in a while. The movies tone shifted a lot, and the director never failed to indicate it. The bright, dim, fun, and funky colors set in this film adds a special nostalgic feel to the film.
The songs felt like how an old musical would do it, and that fits. There's no doubt in Emma and Rayan, their singing was beautiful as well as entertaining. Some people didn't like the ending, but that was one of the best cinematography I've seen in a while.
Granted it was long, but it was beautiful.
