Review of La Haine (1995) by Christopher M — 09 Jul 2008
I always had heard a lot about this movie and I just finally got around to watching it. This was a really great movie. At first I thought it wasn't going to be all it was hyped up to be but in the end, I left the movie feeling like I understood what everyone had been talking about for all those years.
The only thing that took me out of the movie at times was the dramatic French yelling. It made the French language sound vulgar and ugly at points but looking back, maybe it added to the effect of the movie.
