Review of La Haine (1995) by F. B — 02 Jan 2009
Probably the greatest movie ever made. This film studies a broken society that comes to a brutal conclusion as two societies clash together. Its the story of modern day Paris and the riots that happened in 95.
As the forces of order have committed a terrible crime, the cities most impoverished come down on them like a hammer. With incredible performances the cast delivers this masterpiece to the audience as it comes to its brutal and final conclusion, which leaves you breathless.
A real tour de force in French Cinema and one of my favorite movies of all time.
