Review of La Haine (1995) by Hans G — 15 Aug 2009
I'm not going to go into this movie in too much detail simply because I could talk for days about what makes this one brilliant. And it's mostly in the way it's shot. I think Kassovitz paid really good attention to Scorsese.
And I'm not just saying that because of the Scorsese references, but it's pretty clear that his story-telling derives from him. The performances are great, really everything is brilliant. Just watch it.
I'm done here.
