Review of La Haine (1995) by Harpreet S — 14 Apr 2012
A gritty powerful look at the underbelly of Paris. Three friends, a Jew, an Arab, and a Black man live their lives in a bleak world full of racism and discrimination. Wit the aftermath of a riot, Vinz finds a policeman's gun and mulls over the decision to shoot a cop if his hospital ridden friend dies from his police given injuries.
It quickly spirals into a unforgettable ending that won't leave your memory banks for quite some time.
