Review of La Dolce Vita (1960) by Kate L — 13 May 2009
Marcello is a journalist who is not the last person in the celebrity party. But in all this running around Rome, swimming in the fountain, going to hookers home with Anouk, wandering around a deserted castel he finds no answers no meaning, only pleasure.
But is this pleasure worth it or it would better to start a family, to write a book, to get out of this fake world where everyone is an actor and has it`s role, where the news is shoot like a movie, where paparazzi make people take poses like there calling out to God or just pointing at the camera.
He changes his mind a few times but in the end he bids farewell to his angel.
