Review of L.A. Confidential (1997) by Andrew K — 22 May 2013
Character development thrives in this movie and many of the actors bring their A game. There story is an interesting one and takes a lot of twists and turns but ends up betraying itself as it draws to the end.
Characters die left and right and the movie pulls out a predictable card. The beginning half is great but near the end it makes some fatal mistakes. If you can ignore the flaws you'll love it but otherwise it'll just be okay.
