LA Noire at it's finest! Russell Crowe's best film. It all comes together here to make the ultimate homage to that time and place. The loss of innocence and the rise of our national cynicism. Normally a great cast line up like this might drag a movie down but with Crowe and Pierce trying to prove themselves as leading stars they take the movie to the next level.
I wish these collaborators would adapt another Elroy novel. He' is a great storyteller but his books can be difficult to read due to the method he uses to narrate.
