God I love this movie! Everything about it is just so damn well crafted and well done. The acting is outstanding, the dialogue is so cool and clever, the plot is engaging, the action is intense, the twists are hard to pick, and over all it's just one damn sexy film.
All of the actors give performances that could make any career, but Kevin Spacey really goes above and beyond in his role as the slick Hollywood detective. There is just so much to love about this film it's hard to stop singing it's praises.
In the end, L. A. Confidential is one of those rare perfect films.
