Stunning acting from a dream team of thespians highlights an engaging story about corrupt cops in 1950's Los Angeles. There are so many good things about this movie that it's impossible to condese them into a pellet review.
I'll just say that the quality of L.A. Confidential exceeds many of the classic noir films that it's a spiritual child of.
