A great period cop drama focusing on the moral question, does the end justify the means? James Elroys story telling ability is put on display under the direction of Curtis Hanson the Characters come to life.
With breakout prefromances by Guy Pearce and Russell Crowe and the Oscar Award winning preformance along with Kevin Spacy's preformance as the morally tormented Jack Vincennes this film is a can't miss, must see that I highly recommend.
