Review of L.A. Confidential (1997) by Tony J — 13 Oct 2012
Plot/Summary,Based on the best-selling novel by James Ellroy and directed by Curtis Hanson, In 1950's Los Angles three wildly different cops form an uneasy alliance to ferret out deep seated police corruption. But some people will do anything to land their faces in the pages of trashy Hollywood tabloids such as Hush-Hush magazine.
My Review.
This movie well is actually my first crime which is important to know and I got say the reason I chose this cause it was written by James Elroy as a novel who lost his mother at a very young age and started having an obsession with crime and started writing crime novels and this was his first one. This movie is set in the 1950s and is well acted and well executed. its about three cops played by Guy Pearce,Russell Crowe, and Kevin Spacy who form an alliance to solve a murder. The film is one of best crime thrillers and while there may be more this is not my favorite one but it sure hell is pretty damn good.
