L.A. Confidential is very layered and filled with very interesting, distinct characters and a mind-blowing mystery. Spacey, Pierce and Crowe all make for a charismatic detective trio, and the lovely Basinger rounds out a very elite cast.
Corruption and scandal is rampant in this excellent plot and Oscar worthy film.
