Really strong crime-drama, the dynamic between the officers and sharp dialouge are it's strengths, the action also more subtle and effective overall as well. The pace does slightly dip up and down and it's in the shadow of Heat a little bit for me, otherwise its a great film and you can understand its Oscar nominations.
