Review of L.A. Confidential (1997) by Derek D — 26 Aug 2012
Thank you, Titanic and all your fucking tweener babysitters for fucking this movie right in the ass out of so many awards, especially the Big One! Russell Crowe's best role (IMHO) especially at the end when he goes insane with that shotgun.
Kevin Spacey is also great as an ultra-conceited cop and James Cromwell does what he does best - play the bad guy so well you almost hate him in real life. Kudos to Kim Basinger, Guy Pearce and Danny Devito as well.
Easily the best movie of 1997. Thank you, James Cameron! I will never forgive your sorry ass. By the way, how's Linda Hamilton doing these days?
