We actually accidentally rented Part 2 of this movie a couple days ago. See that review.
We happen to see this movie on our PBS station. It was the dubbed English version.
Well, it sucked because we couldn't understand most of what they were saying. The sound recorded dubbing was terrible. They should have shown the original with subtitles. As a result, we could not enjoy this movie because we couldn't really follow it.
We did see the Williams/Lane version a couple years ago, so because of it, we were able to follow the movie a little.
I recommend seeing the Williams/Lane version as it is almost an exact re-make of the original French version.
