I've always questioned the idea of calling February 3 "The Day the Music Died" - Brother Ray first performed 'What'd I Say' just two weeks after, and music was alive n' kickin' post-1959.
Regardless, most people don't really know who sings "American Pie" anyway. Enjoyable film, just the same.
