Review of Kurt Cobain: About a Son (2007) by Ken L — 09 Feb 2008
An interesting take on the live of Kurt Cobain - no concert footage, no spliced tv interviews, no appearance by his good friends and fans. what you have is a series of narratives by Kurt himself, taken from taped audio interviews by Michael Azerrad for his book "Come as You Are: The Story of Nirvana" set against a backdrop of images and life from 3 Washington State locations that he inhabits, with a soundtrack of non-Nirvana songs.
im a fan, still a fan, and this is one rare document and one that is so evocatively placed together. either you liked it or you dont.
