About a Son is an ethereal exploration of the life and times of Kurt Cobain, although is certainly not for everyone. Cobain's remarks are often amusing and always honest, yet one can't feel that at times, this is too much of an indulgence, and aside from its oft-beautiful imagery, is strictly for die-hard fans.
