Kurbaan : Movie Review.

Rating: 8/10.

Kurbaan is a movie that strikes hard. First dont expect it to be a romantic movie. Its not. 10-15 minutes after the movie, things take a darker shade. This movie is for the intelligent audience n not the masala audience. It may not be lapped up entirely by everyone. But nevertheless the quality of cinema we witness is huge and is applaudable... It sticks to the point and doesnt get you bored with the proceedings. The film throw you in a frenzy every 10-15 minutes. The twists shake u up and you dont have time to delve upon it. Agreed that some scenes are not for the lighthearted, there's a lot of bloodshed and violence.Superb performances by the entire cast. Saif's performance in different shades is absolutely mind blowing. So does Kareena. Vivek has done a fine job and its good for his career. He handles it all pretty well. Same about the rest of the cast which is pretty first rate.Songs are gud... Ali Maula and Shukran Allah are pleasant on the ears...Cinematography is fantastic. So is the direction of the movie. Kudos to debutante director for sailing against the tide to make a movie on such a topic. Anyways guys if you like serious cinema then you should go watch Kurbaan for its pure quality... Enjoy...
