Review of Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (2002) by Bryan E — 04 Jan 2009
When you make a parody, and use a vast amount of scenes from, a bad movie to make a new movie, the inherent end is a bad movie. I didn't think it was possible, but somebody came along and created a worse movie out of all those terrible 1970's Hong Kong action-karate movies.
But that is what Oedekerk was shooting for. He was trying to make a movie that had no plot whatsoever, but made you laugh out of how bad it is. It's one of those films thats so bad it's awesome.
