Review of Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (2002) by Josh R — 28 Jun 2008
One of my favorite parodies, though some parts get old after a while. Still, the amount of work with the dubbing, and the green screen work that it took to put Oedekerk into the film is impressive. Overall, the movie centers on the gags that make some serious kung fu movies funny.
Like the near-invincible Master Betty, the wimpy student that thinks he can help the chosen one, and the climax of mass killings of the chosen's friends. And they all are genuinely funny. It is best to see this with a bunch of friends too.
