A mix of old footage and new special effects. Could have done with a little less of the latter. Still a very funny movie and a send up of the beyond weird kung fu movies of the eighties. There are some truly hilarious moments in this excellently goofy film.
However, there are a handful of scenes that get old fairly quickly. Not going to change your life, but still good for a laugh. Of course, it's only funny if you get it, which i'm sure a lot of today's kids won't.
