Review of Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (2002) by Jordan S — 18 Jul 2011

You have to have a pretty specific sense of humor to appreciate Kung Pow. It's not intelligent humor by any means, but that's the point. It's supposed to be random and stupid. It's only purpose is to take an old martial arts film and twist it into something as ridiculous as possible.

And that's what makes it so great. People need to stop taking it so seriously. If you sit through this film without cracking up at least once, well, you need to lighten up and allow yourself to enjoy it for what it is.
