I think critics forget that this isn't the typical comedy. it's not trying to be anything that what it is. Kung pow is more self-aware of its comedy than people realize. yes there is fart-joke type humor but there's more to it and its actually kind of creative, in my opinion, how the dubbed effect turned out.
