As cringeworthy as a 50 year old trying to play yound Kung Fury is painfully unfunny, schlocky and stupid in all the worst way possible. If the 80s are a never-ending well of tappable nostalgia Kung fury is the toxic barrel of radioactive ooze polluting it from the bottom.
Its only merit is that its nostalgia-bait creates demand for something better and might give another movie (like Turbo Kid) a better shot in today's market.
