Review of Kung Fury (2015) by Michael H — 02 Dec 2015
In a perfect world, every film is probably thirty minutes long. Letâ??s face facts, if you analyse the films youâ??ve seen so far this year, could you honestly say that more than fifty percent of them needed to run as long as they did, given the nature of the story they were telling?
I raise this point because writer/director David Sandbergâ??s riotous spoof on the 80s action genre is indeed thirty minutes, but crams more ingenuity, creativity and wallop in its opening ninety seconds that the majority of the feature length shite Iâ??ve endured this year.
