Absolutely ridiculous and bad in every sense, but the people making this know that, and they play it up to perfection in the most awesome way possible. The '80s vibe is present, and it works amazingly here.
Hilarious acting from the lead, everyone else looked like they just got back from shopping at Walmart, but who cares about any of that?
