Review of Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016) by Lightt C — 11 Mar 2016

Not as impressive as the first two, but the ridiculous (as always) amount of artistry that went into this made up for the kind of rushed plot. I felt like they were trying to jam two movies into one. I also feel like the villain may have been toned down for younger audiences. His design and his theme song were incredible, and if the scenes themselves that he was placed in were darker- as they were with the villains in the second movie- he could have been very intimidating.

But really, I'm just belly aching, because nearly every Dreamworks movie has at least one moment where I get goosebumps, or cry, or BOTH. Unfortunately, as good as this was, they didn't really accomplish that this time. Therein lies my disappointment. They've outdone themselves so many times, that a four star movie seems disappointing... lol.
